Wouldn't it be better to warn them not to binge drink themselves silly? OH, I guess a warning about that would fall upon deaf ears. It's a cultural trait.

Don't call them Irish, they are unidentified. If they're in the US they're Americans. The majority of Irish are watching the matches where they're happening, not hanging around the New York subways drunk.

So, two drunks fall into a subway and we warn them to be safe around subways and say nothing about being drunk?

Last year,147 people fell onto the subway tracks. So you have to warn the Irish and have two articles about it.I saw two grossly fat Americans fall down a stairs in a hotel years ago. They rolled all the way down which was kinda funny to think about it afterwards. They weren't seriously hurt which was good. They could have broke their necks. The manager told them to take the elevator in future .Looks like they were too fat and slipped and dragged each other down or just plain stupid.Or both. The Americans should have said they were after a few drinks. At least that would have been an excuse. Now I just think of these two grossly fat Americans as been too fat and stupid. You can never sober up from that.
