I live in Ireland and am not
aware of all these polls you
keep referring to .None of my
acquaintances have ever been consulted on any of these polls, and I can assure you (despite the propaganda agenda ) there is no significant support for gay "marriage " .Everbody are aware that you can not have a marriage between people of the same sex !

I would like a vote on major issues and national elections via a Rep for the diaspora. Anything more lacks commonsense as I live abroad and am out-of-touch with daily life and local events back home. I do want to feel that my citzenship comes with some responsbilities.

That 53% for same sex marriage is lower than previous polls. A referendum to change the constitution is unlikely to survive a campaign going by those figures.
