Better the professionals then the altar boys and girls. The pope should certainly support trans people - we could then more easily solve the problem of the pedo priests with a sharp knife. OF course he's already rallying for his campaign of hate re trans people. EG in Argentina - marriage in 2010, in 2012 they passed laws to protect trans people from discrimination.
Stupid headline ..... Could also have added ' and so do publicans, pirates, communists, Jews, carpenters, masons, morticians, waiters and fishermen". So what?
Nothing new - priest in bed with mgr of hotel - swinging ago go in prestine kerry town by police chief & respectable sorts
Anyone who buys sex is supporting the human trafficking of children and women. There are sex surrogates now that help people with disabilities. No excuses for using prostitutes. It's a crime for a serious reason.
This article infers that prostitution (female): it excludes male) is a wholesome needed enterprise.. Nonsense. Prostitution is a scourge on society. The practice is an addiction for both workers and clients. This practice helps to devalue relationships like marriage., courtship, etc. Call them any euphemism: tarts, trollops, wanton women and men, sex workers, they are still prostitutes. They still devalue the joy and wholesomeness of sex. Get thee to a nunnery!!!
so that's where the sunday collection money goes, no wonder the church is broke, the best thing me & Rosie did was getting the kids baptised as CoE.
I do not mind what they do in private; that is their own business. What bothers me is their hypocrisy, especially the political people who vote and lash out against gays and then you expose them in an huge scandalous mess with young males or young prostitutes.Or then there is the priests sworn to a chaste life found with his frock up and his pants down below his knees. Yet, on Sunday he will be preaching to the congregation about how sinful they are and how they need to mend their ways and pray for forgiveness before being saved. These hypocrites are lower than the lowest of them all and need to be exposed for what they are. If they are in politics they should resign or be thrown out and if they are priest, the very same thing should happen to them. They are unworthy of their calling. How can they ever be trusted.
As for the proverbial 'roll in the hay', this would be just the thing for the clergy to do with their wives, or for that matter their husbands, if the church did not have it's silly hats in the sand.
there is a lot wrong with exploitive enforced or economic prostitution.the poor raddled crack drug addicted street women and terribly young street women,it is a cruel voilent exploitive and evil trade.(if women wish to pursue it for their own profit, its free will.I have never understood why governments never legalised ,taxed and provided housing, health checks and protection for sex workers, who provide a required safety valve for society, the women engaged in providing a service for mankind deserve some measure of respect and protection, and they have none,.

What's the problem with a "little roll in the hay" for a priest? The problem is with the ugly head of "white slavery" which has arisen in the current international effort to curb child sex crimes. Many of these prostitutes are children and part of international organized crime. That is supposedly what Heidi Fleiss was all about and supposedly the name of Charlie Sheen was engraved in her "littlb black book".
Why people pay for sex is probably less mysterious than inferred. Control! But if men of the cloth are occasionally getting defrocked, surely it's to practice sacred sexuality (ie white tantra) to raise their kundalini by way of dry orgasms. Theologically sound!
