So what did she think he saw in her, besides her millions? It doesn't look like she has much of a case since it seems all the bank records are in order. He sounds like a right charmer (not in a good way), but she was very foolish to sign over large amounts of cash. I don't see her winning this because she signed the document in front of a witness, so she can't say she was coerced or goaded into it.

Searlit, I recommend that IC hire you. Don't forget to demand bucketloads of money.

Not a very nice thing for the man to have done BUT...there is no fool like an old fool. Sorry, but I have little sympathy for this woman. Given the difference in their ages, the first question she should have asked herself was, "What does he see in me besides my money?" If she couldn't come up with a list, then she should have known it was the money that he was interested in, and not her. If, as she claims, he started stealing money from her at an early stage in the relationship, why did she continue the relationship? Just my opinion, but I think she wound up getting what she deserved. Perhaps she'll learn to be more careful with whatever she has left.

Maybe I could be a proof reader?

Now that I have finished my cup of coffee, I am reconsidering my comment. Maybe I was too harsh. After reading the profile of the writer of the piece, I feel my avuncular side coming out. I got my BA in English Lit. back when the world was younger. I just want to encourage you writers to write well and carefully, since there are so many bad writers out there.

Another "She said, he said" story. I could have read this in a court report or summary. Honey Boo Boo might have written this story. Youse liberal omadhauns must learn that journalism means writing a story that informs the reader better than s/he would find out the story, e.g., in the pub. Yes, I want IC writers to write better, to hire a proofreader and maybe a fact checker or two.
