I can't believe they got off so lightly. In any of the other Emirates or Saudi there would have been BIG TIME repercussions. And trying to bribe a cop out there as well? Sheesh......pure stupidity.

This wasn't a little groping. It sounds as if they were in full intercourse in the back of a cab. Three months seems fair especially since they got equal sentences rather than the woman getting stoned or the man getting accused of rape. Would this really be tolerated in a cab on O'Connell Street?
