About the "a bleak midwinter for our country and our pride" remark. Let your spirit guide you. The pride will take of itself. Ireland is still a great country. Jobs are important - just hold these companies to a higher standard. Leaders, who know how to do this gain the respect of their countrymen and the world.

@Murph46: If dopey Irish Politicians had financed the Irish people properly they could be going to America to employ the Americans?...........Why does that seem wrong to you? .................Retarded Irish Politicians wasted every penny of the European Funds..........The 1000 jobs you say are over 4 years..........I used to read that sort of story in 2008 / 2009 and what happened next. Its just propaganda and hype that misleads the weak minded.

Begging and grovelling for pretentious American Corporations to come to Ireland does not equal charm...............Its pathetic......... Its degrading............It reaffirms how Irish Politicians have been traitors to the Irish People for far too long.
