@Ancavker: It's not only revisionists, as you call them, who claim these people are of the same linage of the men 0f 1916 but the groups themselves who promote this propaganda... it's the Real IRA, The Continuity IRA, The Provisional IRA, Oglaigh na hEireann, INLA, Provisional Sinn Fein, Republican Sinn Fein, and all the rest of them, who all claim to be a legitimate continuation of the original Irish Volunteers.
