Heard Leo Varadkar on Sunday observing that if the government is required to hold a referendum, it would be hijacked by people with agendas with nothing to do with the treaty. He referred specifically to the argument over proposed septic tank charges. Think that if the AG decides that a referendum is not necessary, avoid one.
