anglo-norman – sorry to correct your allegations but I hafta tell you that I’ve been a few times on Bondi Beach and it’s neighbouring Bronte Beach around the headland there and have never once seen an Irish-instigated row there. In fact, if anything real happens on these beaches, it’s more likely to be the Lifeguards chasing out to sea to rescue someone caught out of breath in their overly-inebriated, morning-after endeavours at TV-inspired hero- or heroine-swimming and surfboarding. And not an Irish man, woman or Irish-drunk row in sight (They'd be doing the sensible thing, sleeping off any hangover they might have). It’s the non-Irish foreigners, up at the crack of dawn people you see, like yourself, you see, who cause all the hassle for the Lifeguards… as you continually attempt to cause here on ICentral, as we Irish see. My advice to you?... Go for a board-surf beyond the shark-protecting nets of Bondi’s or Bronte’s Beach. (No! Don’t! I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, ever! Not even on a cur like you, you see)… but if you do attempt it, you’ll find a punch on the nose of a hungry shark will work just as well to make it go away as the punch I’ve just given you on your Irish Central obnoxious nose.

I'm pretty sure you spend your time over on the Polish sites as well peddling your tripe but no one listens to the likes of you anymore --thankfully. I spent my young life living and working in London and held what would be known as a top job there but I started out doing menial jobs that you or your own countrymen would not do , but rather sit on your couches and draw the dole, so OF Course the Irish took jobs from you but Hey--you could have had the same opportunities but you were too lazy. But, that said I will not presume to lump you all into that bracket in the same way you try to, and in fact some of my best friends are English and visit me here in Ireland a soften as they can and visa versa. When I lived in London there were Aussie pubs scattered around the city and believe me the young Aussies were no saints either, and there were police called to them just as frequently as any other pub so its the same story repeating itself with the young immigrants in Perth--too much money, too much drink, not enough common sense !!! They will grow out of it. And , London pride now has a bigger task on his hands trying to figure out how to get rid of the millions of hard working Polish people who are now once again building his country up, while he vents his hatred on them--not that they should worry.

No, londonpride---you did not GET RID of them and in fact there are still millions of them working away and running your country while your little brain figures out ways to insult a whole nation. Right there at the very top echelons of your society are Irish men and women who worked their way up and hold some of the top jobs in your country . But then the Irish actually built your country for you and that's know world wide. And the fact that thousands decided to leave and return home to Ireland hardly means "you got rid of them" You don't even know the amount of Irish living there because people like you automatically assume that if some one has a British accent he is automatically British but how wrong you are, as there are more second , third , fourth generation Irish living right on your doorstep than you would be capable of counting. And as well as that hundreds of thousands of others have married into english families--not yours obviously, and are living peacefully in the Uk bringing up their families and obeying the law of the land which is more than I could say for some of your own countrymen who live here in Ireland. So, dont try to tar every Irish person with your venomous hatred filled brush. Your queen was made welcome here in Ireland not so long ago and saw fit to praise the efforts of the Irish people but there again, i doubt if you even know that ?

jacersagain- One instance, but I have seen the Irish in Bondi causing mayhem. But in fairness or most likely stupidity the Irish fight themselves.

During a visit to Australia just a couple of years ago, on my way out to the Barrier Reef, I visited the town of Airlie Beach on the East coast, a popular stopping off point for back-packers and others touring Oz. I called into a large open-air pub/restaurant for a pre-dinner drink in the cool of the evening followed by a meal. It was pretty empty when I artrived but as it was evening meal time, it filled up rapidly with hundreds of back-packers, most of them sitting at tables, laughing and joking with each other, many offering advices to fellow travellers on where to go next. Later, as I enjoyed my meal, a row suddenly broke out of nowhere near the bar between a few youngsters, carried on out into the street with all the shouting and shirt-pulling and wild-slinging air punches but police officers were quickly on the scene to break it up. Later, as I had desert, police officers were calling by tables asking for witnesses to the fracas and I gave them my account. In passing, I asked the officers if this was a regular occurrence. They said “Yes it is, mate – every night we have to take some German and English ones off to jail to cool them down.” I asked about the Irish… “No,” he said, “the Irish are the best behaved; they even help us break up fights and end up with bloody noses for it”. Enough said.
