I was a Paramedic for 30 years and we used Propofol as an anesthetic on head injured patients that head to be intubated to gain control of their airway. NEVER ever for relaxation in home with NO supervision and cardiac monitor, pulse oxemetry and Oxygen!
AND NO NO No I am not a Michael Jackson fan!!!!

I am haunted by the idea of the pain Michael was in, spiritually, and I think of being unable to sleep as hell. He seemed haunted by memories of child abuse in his last interviews. I wonder how Joe sleeps at night.

I got propofol when I had my last colonoscopy, but it was in a hospital with a nurse anesthetist keeping me under. In fact, it was jokingly referred to as "Michael Jackson juice." As I am not a physician or pharmacist, I will not dispute Dr Treacy.
