It appears that there was money changing hands in these transactions. I only hope that the Irish couples are innocent victims in this scam. I have one question. Are there not enough babies available for adoption in Ireland?

Comments like portia777 makes without knowing any facts is a disgrace. None of those couples went to buy babies, they had all the right paperwork from the proper depts and adoption visas. The depts involved should release this information as should the IAA. These are the ones who should be ashamed for not helping these poor familes.

So easy to play on needy adults whowant to get children.
Legalised child trafficking.
