Irish community ‘Day of Action’ is organized for Hurricane Sandy victims

I think they mean able-bodied UNION men and women, don't they? When non-union power workers from other states showed up in New Jersey immediately after the hurricane, they were turned away and that's a fact, no matter how the union is trying to spin it now. The union is claiming "confusion over union papers" which really means the non-union workers could only work if they joined the union on the spot. Hard to dredge up a whole lot of sympathy when the union thugs are controlling business as usual.
