paddyo - Is the "Large Bookmaker in Las Vegas" named Sheldon? You know, the guy who's Chinese gambling operation stands to make him billions if Mittens is elected? You know, Adelson, the guy who kept Newt alive in the primaries just long enough for Santorum to run out of money then switched his support to Romney? The Irish odds makers are professionals, do their research and are seldom wrong. As hermitTalker and the bookies should know, you should not MAKE the odds if you have your OWN horse in the race. Its called conflict of interest and will cost Sheldon big time. He will lose his bet, his China money and all the dough he has dumped into the GOP coffers.

Ireland has never had a socialist government.Obama will win as Americans see through the thin soup of Romney's policies or flip flops dressed up as policies.

LOL, Paddyo! Grab the action. Even if the first debate was close for those who didn't count the lies the fact checkers exposed afterwards, and Mitt may have gotten a perceived win on "style points," the bounce he got is already fading in the polls and it's clear if you check the polls state by state that the President (best moderate Republican president we've had since Eisenhower even though he's RUNNING as a Democrat) will win the actual election with, in all probability, over 300 Electoral Votes. The real question is will his coat tails be enough - contrary to a century of history - to take back both houses of Congress. THAT will be closer - but doable if the Dems turn out their vote. The more Romney and Ryan rant, the more likely that becomes - probably why Mitt is trying so hard to flip-flop AGAIN to more liberal positions!

hermitTalker - You need to come out of your cave and get some light! One only needs to Google Obama's accomplishments - they are enormous and especially considering the big fat American/Iraq mess he inherited from Bush - You know, the guy they 'hid' during the Republican National Convention and didn't even mention his name- like they did our American VETS? Did you know that Mittens has not held a job in 13 years (FACT)? Nobody want President Frick and VP Frack- they are blooming idiots! Let us not forget that Romney lied 27 timed in 38 minutes in the last debates. Some integrity this guy has, eh?

Does it occur to anyone that the actual reality is that Obama is losing the race and Bookies are hoping the "bah-bah black sheep" are betting on him to win. Have you any wool? nah, he has been shorn of his over-promised zealous ideas that are born of total lack of experience. And maybe a little arrogance.
