Hopefully RAF Flight Sargeant Denis Copping's body will be found and the family will have closure. Best wishes to them.
Flt. Sgt. Deni Copping reminds one of Brendan Finucane who was raied in Rathmines, Dublin, and also became an avitor in the British military, By August, 1942, he had earned the D.S.C. (Distinguished Service Cross) and was then promoted to Squad Leader at the age of 21. Brendan Finucane was the younest Squadron Leader in the history of the R.A.F., had 26 'kills' to his credit and a had huge shamrock embrazoned on the side of his plane. He didn't see his 22nd birthday, because he was shot down and killed.
