It is not at all unusual to find chamber pots in privies, as that is where they were emptied every day. The job was often relegated to children and if they accidentally dropped a pot into the opening they left it rather than try to retrieve it from the foul pit.
Children and servants often threw broken china and liquor bottles into the privies to hide them. Weapons and even murder victims have also been found in privies. Coins are found too as they often dropped out of pockets when people sat down.

I would be interested in seeing archeologists dig in the Irish colonies in Texas of Refugio and San Patricio de Hibernai both in South Texas and also digging in San Antonio's Irish Flats.

Indeed, the Irish spread all over the United States, and generally were an asset to their adopted country. It will be very interesting to see what is unearthed, and to then better understand how they lived.
