That headline is completely wrong. She has no criminal past. Her offences were misdemeanors. There's a difference. Stop with the shoddy reporting already. Its disgraceful.
If Ireland chooses to make an international incident out of this as happened in the case of Louise Woodward it would be a serious mistake. Even Louise Woodward's attorney later admitted while drunk that Louise was guilty. Juries are chosen very carefully in the U.S. and Nanny Aisling will get a fair trial.
I,m honestly troubled by this case, though I understand why they arrested this girl,I have so many questions of why the parents would also not be questioned, healed broken leg and arm, compressed fractures to the back, malnutrition, would some one tell me why the parents or the baby's pediatrician would not have noticed any of this, the blood in the garbage troubles me also,if this girl did this she certainly didn't try to cover it up.I hate to say this but some thing is not right here.
Assuming she's found guilty she will be deported AFTER she serves her sentence which in this case will be life.
