She must have been pretty dim to allow someone else, even her lover, to pack her suitcase. I think that bogsidebunny might have it right, save your money and spend it where one is appreciated, not reviled and treated as a cash cow.

It is very unlikely this would be allowed in the US. In my Satae, lawyers can be fined for frivolous suits, so probably no one would be willing to touch this. Libel is not usually done on a contingency basis: the lawyer would want payment up front which would amount to hundreds - thousands of dollars that she would have to pay first. Libel also requires the accuser show exactly how she was harmed:how much money did she lose as a result. Most of the time, all an accuser would get would be a sentence in the newspapers "Corrections."

I don't think you can ask a person to have some Christmas spirit and in the same sentence call them that name. The chances of suing a newspaper in the US for libel is nil. Much different laws, thank god

It was clearly establish in the public's mind that Ann Murphy was an unknowing victim of the terrorist's plot, along with all the other passengers, crew, and possibly those on the ground as well. It was Nizar Hindawi, not Ann Murphy, who was caught red handed. Case dismissed!
