The United States has an unemployment rate of 9.1%. We need to get our people working before we let the Irish or any other race in to compete. Had Ireland not had such an incompetent bunch of clowns (Bertie, Biffo and co.) running their country in recent years, had prudence prevailed in terms of public finances with the windfall take revenue being put away for a rainy day etc., Ireland should have been in a position to smoothly ride out the current global economic storm. Unfortunately the Irish government followed the Charlie McCreevy mantra of spend it when you have it. Yes we also had a moron in power (W) for eight of those years and the US is paying the consequences. We need to sort out our house first before letting our Irish cousins in to compete for our jobs.

I would love to have some legal aliens come to visit. To live. Come on down. The Leech/Abernathy in me comes out. Welcome to Houston, Texas.

What contemptible jerks are the Irish and their government. Even as they organize the importation of foreign migrants into Ireland they seek to facilitate the export of Irish people from their homeland.
