IF israel annexes Gaza they have to give citizenship or residency ( according to geneva conventions) to all Palestinians there which could threaten the jewish majority and since they plan on keeping it a jewish state, they most likely will NOT annex gaza or all of the WB, but most likely parts of the WB they have been building illegal settlements on for years against the UN, Geneva Conventions, EU and the US.

Israeil should absorb Gaza and the palestinians. Grant everyone citizenship and assimilate them. Israel is a limited Theocracy. that could be annoying. Hamas lists the destruction of Isreal as a stated goal of the organization and has refused on numerous occasions to state that Isreal has the right to exsist. They also commit ILLEGAL acts upon Isreal from Gaza on a regular basis. The fact you'd even ask "where has anyone said Isreal does not have the right to exsist" shows you are just a clueless Isreal basher without a clue has to the history of why a blockade exsists and what events drove Isreal to this extreme. Go educate yourself and when you have a clue then come back and lecture us.

Does that mean that israel can break international law to do that defending? You do not have international law working for you IF you continuously violate international law. And as for the humanitarian aid, it is down 75% since the pre-illegal blockade. Gisha a jewish human rights organization had to take the israeli government to court to even have them issue a list as to what was a banned substance for gaza. SO this is not about the established and accepted way, as since that that blockade is illegal and its ONLY accepted by israel and they do not count since they are in breach of INTERNATIONAL laws. israel has NO right to go near ANY aid being sent to gaza since the blockade is ILLEGAL,. what about the word ILLEGAL can you NOT understand??????????????

shuvonn- Ya the UN also says Isreal has the right to exsist and also the right to defend itself so they also have international law working for them. You cannot site international as it supports your position and then turn around and ignore it when it does not. What does international law say about launching unguided rockets into cities? How about suicide bombing shops and busses? How about kidnapping? Ya I really feel sorry for Hamas. If those things were happening to any other country they get all kinds of world support but since its Isreal they hate on them. Interesting to note Isreal and the world knows there were no weapons on the ships last time because.............. they boarded those ships and made sure. What was not well known is that humanitarian aid can enter Gaza without a problem after it's been cleared- there is an estblished and accepted way to do this but that gets far less press then "running a blockade does'. If you really wanted to provide aid and avoid any potential for injury or death they'd follow those established methods to have aid enter Gaza but the attention is more important then the aid is.

peterson: why do you think it is that no weapons were found in the last flotilla? And how does that fact equate with your claim that weapons were somehow SUSPECTED to have been on those vessels? Strange that you neglected to mention the illegality of the blockade in the first place... do YOU get it now?

Most of these ships are suspected of carrying weapons of destruction such as grenade launchers, rockets, etc. This has been proven over and over. Do you get it now ??
