It got plenty of attention including Fox. If it was Muslims killing Chritisns you'd probably blame Rush Limbaugh.

I find it suprising that the right wing press have suppressed this story. The usual suspects on TV Hannity,Ingraham,Malkin,O'Reilly and co. paid very little attention to the story.Their coverage would have been more extensive if it were a Muslim killing white Christians. Maybe they were not interested because it was a white Christian right wing terrorist murdering Sikhs. "Onward Christian soldiers" and all that teaparty stuff.

What a brave man! It's good to see the Irish-Americans getting some good press, after reading about the typical stereo-typing going on, about the Olympics, from that Australian newspaper, thanks IC. Although I sorry the officer was so badly wounded. From what I've seen the Irish are a very brave lot! I'll pray that Brian Murphy makes a complete recovery. He seems to have the willpower to make it! If all the policemen could have half of the courage that Mr. Murphy has, this country would become a less violent place for all our citizens. Bravo!

Another mistake- the other officer was not injured. In our local news stations yesterday (here in Wisconsin) it was reported that they also found that he was shot twice more but his bullet proof vest stopped those bullets. Lt. Murphy really is a true hero.

That would be 6, not counting the gunman.

That would be 6 people, not 12 people killed. Facts, please. Don't make it worse than it is. My prayers go out to Lt. Murphy, and the others who were wounded, for their recovery and also to the people of the Sikh temple.
