what did he do for the irish except wear a sweather for the con. How is he doing.
In at least one election campaign there were unflattering comments about Ed Koch for his apparent lack of interest in the opposite sex, but in my opinion, he was always a true friend of the New York Irish. Unlike Partitionist politicians in the Dáil, Mayor Koch never called us "sentimantal fools" or "bloody idiots" because of our sdupport for the Nationalists people of the Six Counties.
Someone show this article to Mr. O'Dowd. Hopefully it will be an eye opener after his disgraceful one yesterday though I doubt it.
A friend of mine, Frank K., died Dec. 26th. Frank was also 88. It's a good age to achieve for a man. I mourn Frank K. "Mr. Mayor"? Not so much.
What a difference a day makes. Must have seen the accolades on the telly and switched sides.
Is this the same Ed Koch IC wrote about yesterday ?
