Ah, the ever-powerful lure of easy money. For some it is sex, for some it is money, for others it is (fill in the blank). And even if one gets the money one is lusting for, one can't or doesn't usually keep the matter quiet so one can go about one's business. There is always the predator around who can sniff it out and suddenly find that s/he "loves" you enough to marry you. Or whatnot. Better not to "win" it in the first place, and be satisfied with what one has.
