The John F. Kennedy Aboretum is a botanists dream. I recommend it, highly. Cashel, Clonmacnoise, Glendalough, Newgrange, all capable of suspending visitors into a spiritual, mystical, magical state. Ireland's magnificence will draw you in at any of the ancient sites. Hopefully, I'll be returning to Éire, very soon.
Tara's always free but Rath Lugh, Grave mound of the Fianna in Meath is embedded with the M3 motorway, so technically you have to pay to drive over it ;0
Nice to see the list has been rectified. :)
@ Sparklet - because IC don't know the alphabet - lol @Motherirish - did you miss the words FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH?
What a bunch of Moaning Mrytles!!! @MotherIrish - Did you read the first sentence of the article. Would you like to try that again? Glad to see the tourism board aren't taking their resources for granted. What a spectacular list of attractions.
Newgrange when I was there in May is not free. There is a charge. Howth is not free either but Dowth apparently is. Someone did not do a fact check on this.
Why is Tipperary, Cashel etc. under Sligo?
