The Church of Ireland (Anglican Communion) was/is the theological wing of British colonialism/imperialism in Ireland. Wonder how objective their records will be. A bit unusual to combine births/marriages/deaths with crimes and misdemeanours? Was it an offence to be born, married or dead in British Ireland? Or was it only such for Roman Catholics/Irish Nationalists/Republicans? Any photos in there of those fine upstanding members of the Royal Irish Constabulary/Protestant Yeomanry officiating at the eviction of native peasant tenant farmers for failure to pay rackrents to absentee English landlords. Ah well. God be good to 'em!
Bythebay, there free, if you bothered to read the full article and follow the link you could have found out for yourself.
