This is the beginning of a tidal shift---soon the wild geese will be returning. It's not just an Irish thing, either. This past week the Chicago Tribune had lenthy pieces on Mexicans and Poles returning home from the States due to changed economic conditions. I am sure that we will see the same article on the Irish within the year. Labour is mobile now, whether it is ascribed to "elites" playing with people like chess pieces or the natural proclivity of mankind to survive and prosper (an Adam Smithian invisible hand), it is a fact of life.
That's all very well, but how come this outfit doesn't provide numbers for jobs for Irish people and jobs for foreign migrants? There's no point in creating jobs in Ireland if half of them and more go to foreign migrants, and that's what's happening currently.
