SOUNDS LIKE ANOTHER IRISH YARN TO GO AND MAKE YE ALL BOOK YE'RE FLIGHTS HAHA ....
The romans left Britain because of the weather. Only after they build fantastic roads towns and cities. They ignored Ireland because they deemed it a hopeless place where the few people who lived there were so dull and inactive they called them 'Hibernating People'. ~~~ This pointless catch-penny 'Gathering' codology will need more than a vague promise of good weather in July, to capture the imagination of the dispirate and desperate Diasporaugh!
if i was an ontreprenoor,i wouldnt mind taking a gamble and investing in macs ,wellys, and brollys, maybe a few dingys lifebelts ,wet suits,wd40.am i a pessimist,no,just rusty.
"Da Gathering" Like every drunk at closeing time inviting everybody back to the house for Da Crack Just like the houseing scam it will blow up in their face
@Hippo what a stupid comment. Over 300,000 english now call the Costa del Sol home. Not to mention the millions of Brits that go to the med every year for some "Sun" The weather in england is crap every year look at the year we just had, a total wash out. Floods everywhere. We just had the worse December on record in London, it rained for most of it. Ireland did not have the same problem.
The Romans didnt call Ireland Hibernia for nothing, meaning land of eternal winter, coming from a sunny climate, they would not let their armys land there even though there is strong enough evidence of of them in the UK,because they knew that lack of sunshine would be bad for their health, maybe the savage fighting nature of the inhabitants played a part, either way it looks like the climate back in the mists of time is still around as the locals head down south to the mediterranean for some of that sun every year.
Sounds like the Gathering organizers are getting desperate. Now they're promising Mediterranean weather.
