Any word on conditions in the North West ??
We have been greatly concerned regarding the floods in souther Ireland..Cork, Galway, Clare and Tipperary. We have dear friends in Clonmel (Co. Tipperary) and would hope that you might give us some additional details. Thanks Vic (husband of patsyb31)
There are no lives lost (yet) thanks be ta God despite the terrible damage to homes, shops and farms. Spare a thought for British village people and the horrendous stuff they're suffering. An ordinary policeman in one village, working on directing traffic away from a flood-washed river bridge, was washed away downriver in yesterday's storm when the bridge collapsed beneath him. His uniformed body was found on a sunny quiet beach today.
Another opportunity for heathen sleeze to vent their puke. Did they not notice their own deluged condition - brain fk.
AND LarryPrice you are a cold, heartless. . .Brit!
So very, very sad. Hope all are okay and that they make a quick recovery!
It may be the first time a lot of them experienced water on their bodies. Lets hope there's a soap flood or a conditioner flood next.
How terrible! I hope no lives have been lost due to the flooding. My grandparents came from Cork and Tipperary; so it feels personal.
So many places that we have visited - makes me so sad to see it. Sincerely hope they are able to get things cleaned up without too much damage. Ireland is our favorite place to visit and it is always in my mind and heart.
