Interpol hunt for U.S. pedophile hiding in Ireland
Jack Storm has dual Irish and American citizenship
The International law enforcement agency Interpol has warned authorities that a fugitive pedophile may be hiding out in Ireland.
Jack Storm (34), an Irish-American from Portland,Oregan, is wanted in the U.S. for sex crimes against children.
The Herald reports that the sexual offender has dual citizenship in both Ireland and America.
Interpol has issued photographs of the fugitive and has issued a red notice seeking his immediate detention considering the serious threat he poses to children.
The Irish police force has been ordered to arrest him and start proceedings to extradite him back to American soil.
The sex offender is 6ft 2in and weighs 14 stone. He has brown eyes and brown receding hair and has been known to wear a beard.
Interpol said "anyone with information is asked to contact their local or national police".
An Interpol red notice is the strongest notice available to the agency and allows the warrant to be circulated worldwide.
