Jonathan and Anna Saccone-Joly, from Cork, the couple recently broadcast the birth of their baby, Emilia Thomasina, on YouTube, have become victims of a vicious campaign of abuse.

Internet trolls went after the couple with vengeance after they posted a video of the birth online earlier this month. One commenter said they hoped their baby “would be stillborn.” Others said they hoped she had a miscarriage.

Jonathan said, “Some of the comments were horrible.

“We told our viewers in advance that we were going to film our daughter's birth. People said they were hoping we would have a miscarriage or that our baby would be stillborn.

“Emilia had to be induced so people were saying it was so pathetic that Anna couldn't push her baby out.

“One Irish TV show slated us last week saying it was “disgusting,”” he told Her.ie. “It's extremely hurtful but you have to grow a thick skin as the majority of our viewers love us.”

He added that the footage of the birth was discreet and there was nothing outrageous about it.
He said, “There is no blood or anything like that, it's all done discreetly.”

Since the birth video was posted it has received over 162,000 hits.

“The SacconeJolys”, the couples daily online reality show, has been running for two years and they have reportedly landed a contract with a US distribution network.

Here’s the birth video from “The SacconeJoly” channel:

Alas! Some Orthodox Christian jihadists will never settle for anything less than an immaculate conception. After all, that's what the brocheure promised. Though I'm not sure about the proclivity to go public with the imtimate details of ones reproduction. Still, as below, good luck to all concerned. Beautiful people all.
Its not like nobody's ever seen a live berth before, lets get real,it was their decision and they were happy to be on video,i say congrats well done,in 20 years time it will most likely be a normal event.
How sad that this couple are so insecure and starved for attention that they vomit every detail of their private lives all over the internet. There is something simply pathetic in that someone would focus as their first priority, filming, lighting, recording and uploading video rather than the simple beauty of the birth of their child. I sense that this marriage is not destined to last.
i would rather face a dozen skinheads than face a woman giving birth, all that new age sensitive man crap,it was the most beautiful thing i ever witnessed)( no it aint, its women and doctor stuff and messy, let them get on with it you wuss and go for a pint or two,if they want to make money out of it and people dont have better things to do ,well its a sort of free world.
need to get a life and protect it - not for display on these tatooing twittering ear and nose piercing tubes.
God bless Mommy, Daddy, and Emilia! A job well done! Health and much happiness to all of you!
God Bless them all and may Emilia live to know her own children's children. I don't understand how people can be so cruel and spiteful about something so precious as the birth of a child.
God Bless Baby Emilia! I wish her 100 years of health & happiness! Shame on those depraved people, who wished her to be stillborn! This video can prepare never pregnant women for the time when they eventually give birth. It can also teach us guys as to what women go through, during childbirth.
Why are so many defenders opf "dacency" so indecent?
