Don't know where you are getting your information but driving along the coast this morning you would be forgiven for thinking you were in the south of France or maybe California. The sun was shining and the water was so still at the marina with all the boats reflecting in the morning sunlight, gorgeous weather for weeks now. Beaches are packed where I live with walkers and families enjoying outdoor activities:). Long may it last!
So it's winter storms now is it?.Well at least it's a downgrade from the Ice Age we were suppose to get.We get two days of windy wet weather and all of a sudden Ireland is "bracing" itself. For what I don't know.Mama go to Florida and your house could end up two fields down the road not just a bed sheet.Ireland has one of the most benign climates in the world.Gusts of wind up to 50mph and a bit of snow for two weeks last year and it's winter storms and ice ages on the menu.Talk about overreacting.Ireland doesn't the meaning of severe weather. We were suppose to get snow by the end of October instead we were sunning ourselves on the beach. That weather forecaster is pure useless.
oh my. it is so windy here in cork. I am up on a hill so guess that don't matter. AUNTIE EMMM!!!!!TOTO
That's a rough one mamaginnty, but you've given a great visual description of it. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Tell me about it, bed sheet on washing line last night is now two fields down and on top of a telegraph pole.
