Hot Topic Tuesday: Will cancelling Hoboken’s St. Patrick’s Day parade stop drunken “debauchery”?
Will revelers take to the streets regardless? Have you say.

I wouldn't be surprised if 3/3 has more problems in Hoboken than even the year before. People will have a chip on their shoulders towards the Hoboken Government. The Mayor should've looked at the revenue for her citys businesses, the citys profit from these fines and enjoyed a day of celebration. It's obvious this Mayor has a high opinion of herself by doing this meanwhile the public opinion is what counts will think she's nothing more than a "Horse's Arse"

Well the Parade in Dublin is on every year and
i know they have a massive clean up the day after, i have been there and they seem to continue to have a parade and about a five day party
they make a lot of money and do not complain about
the assinine drunks so whats a matter with
the city of Hoboken, cant they deal with
the Stupid part of thier constiuancy?
As every other city does.

This is sad since it cancels what should be a cultural demonstration of pride in heritage for a day of debauchery. I blame the 'plastic Paddies" who are either not Irish or Irish in name only and those whose only interest in green is making a buck. I also blame those who revere their heritage, but don't have the courage to stop these idiots. This is like replacing Midnight Mass with an Office Party.
