On the week that she is due in Dublin and Belfast, one of America’s most influential journalists has declared that Hillary Clinton will run for the White House in 2016.

New Yorker magazine editor David Remnick has stated categorically that Hillary Clinton is running for president in 2016.

IrishCentral reported yesterday that Clinton is reuniting many of her Irish American backers for her  visit to Dublin and Belfast this week for the first time since she became Secretary of State.

In an article in this week’s New Yorker, David Remnick, a hugely influential figure in U.S. journalism, stated boldly:

Hillary Clinton is running for President...” Remnick said he based his evidence on “a three-day conference I attended this weekend at the annual Saban Forum, in Washington, D.C.”

The Saban Forum is an annual Israeli/US conference held alternately in Israel and the U.S and attended by senior figures in government and business, and opinion makers from both countries.

Remnick stated that the Friday night events at the conference were “surprisingly revealing. Hillary Clinton was the main speaker. In a packed ballroom of the Willard Hotel, she was greeted with a standing ovation and then a short, adoring film.... The film, an expensive-looking production, went to the trouble of collecting interviews with Israeli politicians—Benjamin Netanyahu, Ehud Barak, Tzipi Livni—and American colleagues, like John Kerry. Tony Blair said, “I just have an instinct that the best is yet to come.”

Remnick noted that, “The film was like an international endorsement four years in advance of the Iowa caucus and the New Hampshire primary.” Reminick stated, “2016 was within sight. She’s running.”

Clinton is in Dublin for an international security conference and a human rights speech and on Friday will travel to Belfast and speak at the American Ireland Fund for Ireland luncheon there.

Run for Pesident? A TRAITOR? I think she can run, but she cannot hide!
should read Anglo a chara.
Indeed it is sad I'm glad you agree with me Anlo a Chara.
God spare us, please.
Poor "anglo-norman" can only view as "sad" those who speak simple truth. The nice thing is that seanomelb and his kind are building a future where Teabag Twits and other right wing bigots will simply be irrelevant in public discourse and a perishing minority in elections unless they start to LISTEN and intelligently respond with positive alternatives to the real world issues they insist on denying.

She is a warmonger and a liar The US is bascially the only country of any importance that has backed the murder and ethnic cleansing of PalestineAll done with Americian planes tanks and missiles all paid for by the US tax payer Go to U Tube Video "Palestine Robbie Dunn" America is suporting and apartheid state called Israel. Lets hope they are brought to justice for their war crimes. The whole world cannot be wrong.
As NY senator Hilary did absolutely nothing for the people of NY, especially NY State which needs economic help desperately. Hilary did zero, nada, nothing and everyone who is paying attention (sans an agenda) knows it.
There's a lot of wishful thinking going on here. Yes, Hillary WOULD have made a terrific president; but Obama made an even better one. While there would be an undeniable cachet to being in history as the first woman President of the U.S. (let us face it, MY party has purged the only contenders from high office who might stand a realistic chance of winning the Presidency), her legacy now is unimpeachable and there are a lot of other equally qualified candidates for the post from the superb Vice President to the fine Governor of New York. As a Moderate Republican I could be persuaded to cross party lines again to support Hillary over a wing nut from my own party, but I'd *prefer* to support my eminently qualified, charming fellow Delawarean (and a heck of a campaigner), Joe Biden.
until i HEAR hillary say that she is RUNNING for president in 2016, i'm NOT believing ANYTHING. alisa
The teabaggers below are having a field day never have I witnessed such weeping and gnashing of teeth from so many sore losers. Their ignorance is embarrassing.
To be honest, I am super liberal and I have very little respect for Hillary Clinton. She voted for the invasion of Iraq, which was terribly inappropriate. Iraq had nothing to do with September 11th and they also didn't have any weapons of mass destruction. We have lost so many innocent people's lives due to the invasion of Iraq. Nor have we been able to improve their country in any way. President Obama did not vote for the invasion of Iraq, which is the reason I truly respect him and appreciate that we have him as president for two terms.
Hillary stated in an interview that her favorite book is 1984, by George Orwell. Her attitudes clearly reflect why. God help us if she runs. But who knows, the way Obama is going, there will probably be no Bill of Rights left by 2016, anyway.
irishbob: No President can serve more than 2 terms in office; period. Surprised you posted something like that.
Listen to "Portia777". Actually, she knows what she is talking about. It's all about that world socialist government that is creepin' (dropped g) steadily. She may be the world socialist president. You have to think big time.
