A good argument for forcibly having off duty pilots as passngers on all flights! Same policy should apply to medical personnel, too. (Public Address System:: Will Dr Johnson please report to the reservatons desk? You have been rescheduled from flight 4451 to Newark to flight 489 to Milan due to a shortage of inflight medical personnel.)

Another piece of sensationalist nonsense from Cathy Hayes. The man is a fully-qualified pilot who stepped in when the co-pilot developed migraine. The aircraft was never in danger and there was nothing heroic about the incident.
