As a non drinker who has a mother who is an alcoholic AND as I live in ireland, Im qualified to make that statement. You posted under another topic that we go out at the weekends and urinate all over the place! Surely a sign that we drink too much George Dildo?!

IrelandNorth, I completely agree. Drinks companies should be forced to donate to organisations such as The Rise Foundation. Theres way too many p1ss heads in Ireland.

Will they be donating 10% of their profits to charitable causes, like alcohol addiction counselling services for recovering alcohol addicts, whether in Ireland, USA or further afield like the UK. Like other contributers, some of us don't need the corporate permission of the intoxication industry to have a good time. And some of us still can do so without the social lubricant of alcohol intoxication to oil the cogs of our sociability.

Well joan1954 we have seen a lot of water under the bridge,I know you were on the San Antonio committee and I see an assault against the Irish all over under the guise of political correctness.I will have some Guinness and Jamesons ,but I never joined our local Hibernians cause I am basically a maverick!
