The accusation of rape against Greg Kelly, co-host of Fox 5’s “Good Day New York” and son of the NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly seems to be falling apart as the accused brought forward proof that they stayed in touch and spoke about doing it again.

The TV personality has taken time off work and although he is cooperating with investigations, he has not been charged with any crimes.

Sources close to the investigation told the New York Daily News that there were flirtatious exchanges between the woman and Kelly. It’s also been revealed that the woman had an abortion after their brief encounter in her Manhattan office.

Kelly has denied all accusations through his attorney. The Manhattan DA has also voiced their doubts about the case.

On Friday, his high-profile father, NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly made his first public appearance since the accusations were made. He refused to comment saying, “I'm not going to ... with all due respect, answer any questions on this matter,” according to AP reports.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg  will also face questions about how police have handled the matter. The investigation was handed over to the Manhattan DA, in case there any conflict of interest.

The woman’s boyfriend approached Police Commissioner Kelly at a party saying, “Your son ruined my girlfriend’s life.” He then refused to explain and said he would send a letter. Paul Brown, spokesman for Commissioner Kelly, maintains that the letter never arrived.

Bloomberg said he "thought the police department did exactly what they should do" by turning the matter involving Kelly's son over to the district attorney.

"Keep in mind: Everyone has a right to have their complaints investigated."

If he's got the evidence that shows she wasnt as innocent and unwilling as she made out then she's not only going to find herself in deep dudu but she's likely going to lose the boyfriend that is starting to look like the innocent idiot in all this. If the evidence is strong then I feel sorry for him because she's clearly lied to him as well. Funny how this is often the outcome - i hope for the sake of the accused he's got enough evidence if it was a lie and in her case she should feel the full force of the law if she has lied about her "relationship" or "involvement" with him.
guilty or innocent, he is reckless and stupid, more than likely arrogant as well. Issue is, up to this point does the punishment outweigh the crime.
' its about time the Irish stood up for themselves. IT only takes one story like this to destroy a honorably family ,the honest reporting by the Irish media,is appreciated
First off, Bill Clinton was being sued for sexual harassment of a state employee, UNDER him, as a Chief Executive of the State. He paid Paula Jones upwards of $800,000 and he lied about the harassment , under oath along with having a sexual relationship with another young woman even more powerless and vulnerable. As for this swine who accused Gregg Kelly, she should be charged with raping his life and murdering his reputation. And she should be JAILED. Maybe these personality disordered women will think twice about ruining an innocent man.
Why then Jam did he surrender his license to practice law,put up or shut up,you revisionists are disgraceful.HE WAS CONVICTED OF LYING UNDER OATH!
Murph, Clinton was NOT convicted. The House charged him via Impeachment, which is like an indictment. It's the Senate where the trial is held and they did not vote to convict. Period. And this is the second time a Republican House has impeached a Democratic President and failed to win conviction. You really should pay more attention to reality and less to your hateful convictions.
I hope Mr. Kelly will be able to rise above this shameful attemp to ruin his reputation. This woman obviously has serious character issues which were well developed before she met Mr. Kelly. I'm sure he's not the first "stranger" she brought back to her office. Enough said.
Hey Phlutie Fan if you are referring to WJ Clinton as Willy Boy,he wasn't EVER charged with being less than honorable,he was charged with and convicted of the felony of lying under oath-this is why of course he surrendered his license to practice law-because of a felony conviction.
Smearing is amazingly easy and powerful - its hard getting one's reputation back - the first salvo by anyone. sticks, big. The power of paintings by those who utilize the whine to great effect leaves a trail of fear and shame tarring of its victim and on ther racial connections. There is no antidote counter to anti paintings on "this or that." A lie goes around the world before truth gets a chance to open the front door.

If a bookie gave odds on whether there will be an indictment, smart money would be on no indictment. The reasons for no indictment is all over these comments, as well as the story itself. Perhaps, rather than her motive being money, her boyfriend found out about the AFFAIR so she is attempting to put the blame on Mr. Kelly!
What a joke. If she was raped why not report it right away? Who knows about the abortion, etc. I think she sees dollar signs in front of her eyes, but I don't think it will work.
jimgordo1, what a stupid and contradictory post..........francisquinn can read English, he did'nt make the headline here, the Irish voice did, so wind your wee liberal neck in son..
francisquinn -- Read the quote again: , “I'm not going to ... with all due respect, answer any questions on this matter,” He didn't say "On advice of counsel. . ." He just said, flat out, that he wasn't going to answer any questions on the matter. Whatever his motivation, because the DA told him not to, or he did it of his own choice, he still "refused" to answer questions. So, get your head out of your conservative nether regions and learn to read English!
Being less than honorable is not a crime as proven in spades by "Willie Boy". Also, claims of pregnancy and abortion are common tactics from less than honorable women.
