Gerry Adams a great man!? Justice? Love? Did Jesus teach us to plant no warning bombs in shopping centres, hotels, pubs and on the streets?? Did Jesus teach us to murder innocent men, women & Children? Was Jesus a terrorist?

I bet MP Widdecombe thought that H-Block was a good example of "devout Christian" beliefs too!

Funny that a Conservative thinks she occupies the moral highground, ahem - ever heard of Maggie 'the Butcher' Thatcher?

I don't know who British politician Ann Widdecombe is and I have no idea whether she is infact a "devout Christian" as your reporter claims. I do know that Gerry Adams has done more to promote PEACE with JUSTICE for the people of northern Ireland than just about anybody. That's sounds VERY Christian to me.
