Everyone finds Jesus when the noose is about to go around their neck. Adams is perfect for this role about the history of the Bible. His volitile role in the history of Northern Ireland would be more appropriate. However, it is never to late to re-discover Jesus.

Gerry Adams a great man!? Justice? Love? Did Jesus teach us to plant no warning bombs in shopping centres, hotels, pubs and on the streets?? Did Jesus teach us to murder innocent men, women & Children? Was Jesus a terrorist?

I don't know who British politician Ann Widdecombe is and I have no idea whether she is infact a "devout Christian" as your reporter claims. I do know that Gerry Adams has done more to promote PEACE with JUSTICE for the people of northern Ireland than just about anybody. That's sounds VERY Christian to me.
