So Enda Kenny was disppointed? So what? Gay Mitchell is the man the party wanted. The Party is NOT Enda Kenny, so while he may have had his preference, the party has spoken and the vast majority of Fine Gael supporters are delighted with this choice of a genuine committed Party member, not some johnny come lately opportunist!! roll on the vote!!!

I very rarely agree with anything book Enda says but Cox was the better choice. The choice made Fine Gael only demonstrates why they have been out of so called power for so long. They are really out of touch with reality.

I am so unhappy this Sunday afternoon. Not for meself, mind’ya, but for Gabriel Mitchell... nice man, good TD, woeful EU rep and a worse choice for Prisondant of my country by bad Fine Gael. Not surprising, they always make bad choices for the real Gael. We’ll secretly tell ‘em so in the ballad voxes.
