I'd bet (?) there's very little difference between gambling proper and high risk investment banking. Both I'm sure give the exact same adrenalin rush. One Irish banker in post IMF/ECB/EU Irish banking regulation said it would mean a return to "boring banking". How descriptive was that? Only problem is, taxpayers pick up the tabs for the casino capitalists of the Irish privte banking sector. How come?
Betting shops in towns are doubling in size. I joking made an observation once that there is enough room for a roulette in them. Now I'm wondering did i hit on something. If gambling laws are ever liberalised, this will be the progression. IMF wants fresh revenue don't you know. Internet betting more addictive than heroin its said.
How much government money is this guy looking for?
