Gabrielle Giffords and husband Mark Kelly meet with Newtown shooting victims' families

While many Americans are in support of stronger gun control, facts are there has been a dramatic increase countrywide for new gun permits since the Newtown shootings along with reports from gun stores of buyers hoarding ammunition. Recently a Boston Globe article interviewed a gun shop owner who said typically his clients buy one box of ammo now they buy five at a time. Instead of sanity and proper regulation, the outcome of the school shootings has sparked a buying frenzy for new weapons.
