One only has to ask the Question! "has Romney got the intellect to be POTUS"?? and the answer is no.
wtf Any self-respecting Irish man who would take a look back it his roots should be embarrassed to vote for Obama, he stands for everything our fore fathers were against. Nuff said
For the life of me I cannot understand why Romney wants to be president. He is so utterly unsuited to the office and shockingly uncomfortable in the role of politician. His everyday language is bizarre. The moment he goes off script he is lost like a babe in the woods, clueless, senselessly offending people and nations and saying unbelievably stupid things. He needs to be a good politician - think Reagan, Tip O'Neill, Clinton, the Kennedys who all loved the to and fro of retail politics. Romney visibly detests it - and is no good at it. Good God! does he want this job for the power and the perks, that he's somehow deserving? He's not. He really isn't ready for prime time and he never will be. lokionline, I share your observation. We Irish are often a contradiction and a paradox: We can be progressive, liberal, compassionate ... and we can also be racist, bigoted, reactionary ... and proud Tea Party types.
Talk about bored, look in the mirror Seanomelb
Seanomelb, me thinks tis YOU that is misinformed, as for bored, look in the mirror
Boring borefield and his pearls of misinformation and petty narrow views.
When Obama made a fool of himself and the American people by giving the Queen a set of DVD's that were not compatible with English VCR's, very thoughtful , right! And Michelle glammed her large arm around the Queen as she towered over her, I saw very little press for their poor classless behavior. Biased people are so narrow minded.
Lokionline, what' a shame the Obama A- kissers can only read Headlines! And all of them are left wing spin.
This is the way Romney should have behaved with the Brits - low key and respectful. To criticize the London Olympic Games on the eve of the event shows appalling judgement, irrespective of the merit of such claims. He richly deserved his spanking by Cameron and Boris.
I was under the impression that Richard Salisbury Williamson was Romney's Chief foreign advisor with some help from Dan Senor.

Where did this idea that Mitchell Reiss is Romney's Chief foreign advisor come from?
I find it depressing to see how many Irish descendents have become Tea Party types. The right wing of the republican party that Romney has been licking up to is practically and universally distrusted in Ireland.

You may be able to find one two badly informed Irish pundits who will make positive sounds about Romney but the vast, vast majority of Irish distrust this man.
