Fundraiser in Rambling House, Woodlawn, for Waterford boys diagnosed with rare metabolic disorder
Ryan (6) and Ethan (4) Caufield’s condition leads to neurologic deterioration
Ryan and Ethan Caulfield from Tramore, Co.Waterford have recently been diagnosed with ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy) - a rare metabolic disorder that progressively leads to neurological deterioration.
The two young boys' dad Jimmy is from Woodlawn in the Bronx. Events have been arranged in the area in the upcoming months in aid of Ryan (6) and Ethan (4).
The first, a charity boxing night, will take place at The Rambling House, Katonah avenue, Bronx, on January 4. Details to follow.
The Rambling House will also host a benefit on Saturday February 16, commencing at 3pm. to raise money for this great cause. There will be live music and raffles on the day/night.
All the money will go to the Caulfield family to offset the medical expenses they will incur as Ryan and Ethan undergo bone marrow transplants. These transplants will hopefully stop the progression of ALD in these two young beautiful boys.
