I watch FOX news a lot; also, some CNN, but can't take all the squawking at each other that goes on, that, and I lean right!!

One year Keith Olbermann pointed out that, in the middle of O'Reilly's umpteenth gasbag attack on the War Against Christmas, Fox was selling "Bill O'Reilly Holiday Ornaments." If you are a Christian, do you really feel that your right to enjoy your holiday is under attack? Black Friday is blacker than ever. People are still being stampeded in their quest for big screen TVs. Looks like Christmas to me. On our street, there is a decorated house front with candy canes, toy soldiers, Santa, elves, deer and, oh yes, a tiny sign in the middle saying 'Keep Christ in Christmas."

Going to cable news because you want to be informed is like going to Olive Garden because you want to be in Italy.

I agree with Bill O'Reilly on this one; extramarital affairs have nothing to do with the issue. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I wonder if O'reilly is thinking of his extra marital affairs when he sings "The twelve days of Christmas" Was Megan Kelly one of them??.Would you like me to deliver your letter Seamus, only glad to oblige.

Again... it's Faux News Network and its gaggle of Faux News Blithering Idiots! I stopped watching, maybe someday if all normal folks quit watching, it might just go away. Hey that what I want for Christmas - for Faux News to just go away. Better write that letter to Santa. I still believe.

Captaincon...yes, Christianity did use pagan holidays and symbols. But there was a reason. Like St. Columba used the circle which was a pagan symbol for the sun god...he imposed the cross over it and explained that represented the true Son of God. So we have the Celtic Cross.

The fake war on Christmas is typical of the fake controversies whipped up by the fake Fox News. Watching cable news to be informed is like going to Olive Garden because you want to be in Italy.

@PolinDeB..HUH!! First of all you don’t know me so please do not judge me. You’re your Muslim friend should have sat his daughter down and told her how Christians started Santa. You see there really was a St. Nickolas. He was born into wealth beyond his needs and when his parents died he didn't want to be in the worldly ways so he took all his money and bought gifts and food children and adults (you see back then they didn't lock their doors) and St. Nicholas would come in and leave food, clothing and gifts for the families. The children hung their stockings (socks to us today) by the fire to get dried and St. Nickolas would come and fill them with toys and treats for the kids. He did this all year round not just on Christmas. So because of the wise men that brought Jesus gifts we associate St. Nick with the 3 wise men giving gifts. And that’s how we got Santa. . But to me it is more about Dec.25 being celebrated as the birth of Christ. It don't mean that is the exact day Jesus was born it means that’s the day we Christians chose to celebrate it. As for it becoming too commercial. Well that goes with out saying. It is sad ppl act the way they do during the Christmas time . Have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. And celebrate the birth of Christ .Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season.

Like the story of my Muslim friend, came in to work one day.. " I lied to my daughter, I promised I never would but I did".
I asked why?
"She asked whether Santa came to Muslims - I said no. She said 'Daddy he doesn't come to Muslims in Persia where your from but he does come to Muslims in Australia'. So I did it .. I lied. 'Well, he must be coming then'" Happy Christmas...

on the other hand.. I don't think the problem is people.. i think the problem is bureaucrats with very little to do.. if they actually ran the schools and worried about grades more than pc stuff.. everyone wouldn't get a #$%# what Christmas was called..
