brilliant,a reality check, hated the world wide property boom BROUGHT ABOUT BY THE GREEDY BANKERS.HOMES SHOULD be within the reach of all,not an inflationary bubble, they should be for living in,for bringing your kid,s up in not the greedy going up a 1000,QUID A MONTH pricing millions out of the market,it stunk, glad the system imploded through unbridled greed, now all they are good for is to sell up and pay the proceeds to some fat cat care home owner when you go ga ga,great system.
So listen Mr. Patrick Conihan that brought us this article about this beautiful place, please do some further research. Let us all know if Mr. Diver is a Brit please!!!
cillowen - for all you know Mr Diver is a Brit. There are as many Irish living in the UK as there are in Ireland. Get over yourself.
Good for Paul Diver! I wish him every success.
Stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and had a wonderful time. It was glorious! so kind to my kids during easter, put chocolates in the room for them! Hospitality at its best. Hope that Mr. Diver has great success as we hope to return soon!
I ran around the halls of that hotel when it was being built. What a lovely place. What a great buy.
I've stayed there and I think it represents the best of Irish hospitality. The lough out back of it is one of the most amazing sights. This place will be back on its feet in no time - it's a hidden treasure.
Some people seem to think that its still over priced and could also be more propaganda to get people to speculate with property again.
Spent a few days at the Sandhouse in 1999. It was a beautiful place. I hope Mr. Diver can restore it to its former state. I would love to come back for a stay.
