Martin ran a great race and the best man won the presidency
If this was going on in 2012, what was going on between 1969 and 1994. I profoundly regret that the election capmaign degenerated into negative campaigning, and worse that two Ulster men cancelled each other out for a candiate of no provincial fixed abode.
Theres no doubt he has a great case. Let it be a lesson to others that SF are experts in the art of deception and never fall on their own sword as a result. Politicians will just have to learn to get up a lot earlier in the morning to deal with the new kid on the block.
Sean has a great case. It was obvious what was going on in the 'broadcast'. It was bad for Sean but great for Ireland as it at least showed the Electorate the shape-shifting McGuinness up for the despicable thug he is. In a strange way Sean served his Nation nobly that night, and should win this case against the Morons of Montrose and replace the current emcumbent in the Aras who, as a result of this crooked Debate, was elected by default! RTE National Broadcaster? ... National Disgrace!... more like!
sean who???
He's nothing more than a Fianna Fail bag man
Seems the ghost of Father Reynolds defamation casts its shadow still. Why do I get the distinct impression that RTE is reaping a harvest of bad karma for years for giving a generation of obtuse viewers a steady diet of sanitised reality, not least in relation to the Troubles in the north. And is the current Minister for Telecommunications any less censorious than his fellow party ministerial predecessor who was instrumental in gagging a state broadcaster which thinks it's a national one?
