A woman who served as a juror in the Casey Anthony murder trial is so terrified by her co-workers reaction that she quit her job and fled her home, her husband said.
The anonymous woman, known only as Juror Number 12, who worked in a grocery store in an Orlando supermarket, was so fearful she phoned in to quit her job before fleeing to Michigan, her husband told NBC News.
The red-haired 60-year-old said that half of her co-workers "want her head on a platter," her husband told NBC.
The supermarket worker is living in fear that her fellow employees will be outraged with the juror’s not guilty verdict.

Her husband said he has packed his own bags and is prepared to flee if his wife’s name is made public. The court record of all juror’s names remained sealed for now.
Her husband said that before leaving she told him: “I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.”
Last week the jury acquitted Casey Anthony of the murder of her daughter Casey. They found her guilty only of lying to police officers who investigated the 2-year-olds disappearance.
In other news the Chicago Sun Times reports that the 25-year-old may live in disguise after her release from prison yesterday.
“There even have been discussions about cosmetic surgery, but Casey has rejected that out of hand,” a source told the newspaper
“Casey really does not completely understand the depth of hatred out there.
“She’s fully aware of the various death threats, of course, but she thinks that’s isolated to relatively few nutcases,” added the source.

The whole problem is; the jury did NOT "do their duty". THAT'S the issue.

Well guess what? We don't want her stupid a$@ in Michigan either. GO LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Maybe next time, when faced with TONS of proof, a jury will think twice about loopholes and setting a baby killer free! DON'T COME HERE TO MICHIGAN.....GET OUT!

well i guess i don,t blame her for leaving...its like casey and all 12 jurors have a big bulls eye between their eyes...i wouldn,t be hiding in fear,im sure she is hiding in shame for being a part of that jury.

No one would have hurt the old girl. Let future juries be warned, do your job or expect condemnation from your peers.

A sad indictment of the justice system when a juror has to flee her home in fear of retibution for doing her duty, digusting.

They felt they couldn't get a fair jury in Orlando...Orange County because this is where the crime played out. They went to Pinellas County over there in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area and transported them over to Orange for the trial.

Ugh. Enough of her. What comes around does go around. We can only wait that she gets 'hers.'

Casey will get what she deserves one way or another.

And we wonder how the Salem witch trials occurred among supposedly God fearing people. The state overcharged and paid the price for tendering the kitchen sink instead of targeted evidence. Who wouldn't be confused by all the tangential and extraneous evidence?
tomgallagher | Jul 13, 2011, 11:41 AM EDT
I thought they were from Pinellas County.????
tomgallagher | Jul 13, 2011, 11:40 AM EDT
All that information and evidence and testimony and they only took 11 hours to reach ba verdict. Oh please, give me a break.

It doesn't matter if you are surrounded by a hundred armed individuals if you are targeted by a competent sniper (Jack Kennedy or MLK) or an assassin that doesn't care what happens to himself (Bobby Kennedy)

How do you know it was supposed to be Publix? There are plenty of other stores in Orlando. (Yes, I do know that the jury came from Pasco County), feasibly, she could've travelled to work.
davelar | Jul 13, 2011, 10:53 AM EDT
No jurors worked at a Publix in Orlando. ALL jurors came from another county.

I haven't heard of a single fan or supporter of Casey Anthony. I have heard many who believe the jury acted in good faith in voting not guilty because the prosecution blew it. But even the jurors hink she may have done it. Just not enough evidence to convict.

Why would the juror "flee in fear"? Doesn't Florida allow citizens to own & carry fire-arms? Casey Anthony won't need to hide or disguise herself. She has plenty of fans & supporters ready to protect & defend her.
