Neither Fine Gael (FG) nor Fíanna Fáil (FF) were in existence then. Only Sinn Fein (SF) and Labour (Lab). Seems fortuitious who should be in coalition government for the centenary, since counter-revolutionary/civil war politics have served the nation badly. But does a dangerously educationally revised and designerly proagansied press ganged/media-ted Irish electorate have the requisite politcal consciousness? Who knows?
Connolly-ists Unite !
The Blue Shirts won't make it that long.
One would think that the free state party would be embarrassed to part take in republican celebrations.
