Murphy has helped catalogue a vast amount of film and other memorabilia which the Hollywood legend has collected and will now donate to the new Legacy Centre in Glengarriff.
“Maureen said to me: ‘What am I going to do with it’ when we had everything collected and out of that came the idea for the Legacy Centre, which will be a great boost to Glengarriff and protect the image that she has portrayed over 70 years,” said Murphy.

This isn't a matter for the HSE, Maureen O'Hara is doing well and wishes to be left alone.

The Health Service Executive (HSE) has a not unjustified reputation of being yet another top heavy Irish bureaucracy citizens have to negotiate. Now in the process of being dismantled, it's an Irish State authority which replaced more accessible Health Boards organised along provincial lines; i.e. Northern Health Board (Ulster) - Southern Health Board (Munster) - Eastern Health Board (Leinster) and Western Health Board (Connacht). Changes in Irish Governments usually involve dismantling such authorities only to replaced them with others - nepotism not being entirely uninfluential. Hardly peculiar to Ireland, I imagine.

This is harassment of Maureen O'Hara and should be stopped. If there are those with provable allegations they should be reported to An Garda Síochána for investigation, otherwise leave the Maureen O'Hara and her caretaker alone.

Often in cases of elder abuse, the victim denies the allegation for fear of retaliation and/or abandonment. Considering the situation, it would be prudent for intervention by an impartial overseer.

Perhaps the HSE would consider expending it's energy checking on real problems. ie the many children in HSE care, some of whom are in bed and breakfast accommodation & walking the streets during the days. What regulating is done for these children. ?

Ms. O'Hara is a wonderful and talented actress. Sounds like a scripted interview and possibly one of Ms. O'Hara's best performances. Written, directed and produced by Ms. Murphy. The family should be outraged and have her immediately deposed.

Maureen O'Hara is a gift to the world - I always loved her films. Why do people assume that once you reach a certain age that you've lost all your faculties. She said she is not abused so we should take her at her word. It's a pity that she has to go through all this nonsense. Where has the family been all this time - now suddently they're concerned????? Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that she's trying to do something wonderful for Ireland and they don't think they'll get a big enough piece of the pie should God call Maureen home. Greed is an ugly thing. God Bless Maureen.

"Murphy was given power of attorney over O’Hara’s affairs in 2006 and was recently questions by the Irish Health Authority over claims that she is making too many demands on O’Hara."

Beware of wolves ( or PA's ) in sheeps clothing. Why wasn't the family present or interviewed ? Very suspicious. Something very fishy here indeed.
