It's not amnesty, it's not immunity BUT it is a desperate move to corner the Hispanic vote. That bunch will stoop to anything to get votes. America, beware of the giftbearing politians

Pretty obvious political maneuver. A "look at me" moment. Very typical of this man who never worked at a job. He is an arrogant, self-serving politician like every other elected official in the federal government.

Not sure this is classic 'amnesty', but if it is it follows a path we often use to provide amnesty to those Americans who violated our tax laws by hiding income in far away places.

I thought that there was a las in whe United States that illegal aliens could not work here. We raid meat packers. arrest people who sell social security numbers and try to get companies to check job applicant's legal status by on-line links with the SSN agency. Why?

CBS profiled an illegal immigrant by the name of Leslie. She was from Mexico and had just graduated from UCLA and had been accepted into law school. How did she pay her way through UCLA without monetary aid? How was she then accepted into law school without her status being known? There is a need for compassion and I believe that AB Gomez of LA should be heard from. However once again, the "Irish need not apply". Hispanics (16.4%), Germans (15.6%), Irish (12.2% with Scotch-Irish like Senator James Webb). The Irish are the backbone of the working class of the Democratic Party. Michele Obama declared war on Illinois Irish politicians as documented in Jodi Kantor's recent book. Republican is not the best choice for the Irish. However, when Obama writes off the working class and has a core constituency of "radical women (read lesbian), non whites, and non heterosexuals), then the Irish need to reevaluate and redefine their role in the American political process.

good. There are those that want to put the 8 year olds in cuffs and send them back.Dangerous criminals those elementary students and college kids. About time, Congress has been setting on the Dream Bill for about two years, they have majority of both houses but one senator is holding up the bill. Probably needs to keep the country from kids. I say shame on Congress for doing nothing.

If someone is illegally in a country they should be deported not rewarded for keeping their heads down for a few years.
