Fears that Whitey Bulger may die before he stands trial for 19 murders

While it would be nice to hear the details of all his crimes, he's off the street--and that's the most important thing. Since he definitely won't live long enough to see all his appeals to the end unless he decides to pass his appeals, he'll probably spend his time in the city or county jail and not have to go to a state prison. In any jail or prison, he'll be subject to a couple of smart-asses who want to have the right to say "I'm the guy who killed Whitey Bulger," it will be open season on Bulger in any penal institution. He's old and no longer as powerful as he once was, but I expect he'd still fight for his life . . . and he just might win, at least against the first two guys.

Whitey knows too much! The "Powers that be" will make sure he never takes the stand.

Unlike some recent post's that attributed the movie The Departed to a remake of a Japanese story-It was about Whitey Bulger and his Winter Hill Gang.Jack Nicholson read everything he could about Bulger to prepare for the role.He did a great job ,then Bulger was captured and his tie to the FBI came clear.

God will provide the final judgement, whether or not Bulger lives long enough to stand trial.

He'll die. The FBI does not want him to testify, revealing their dirt.
