University College Dublin, Ireland’s largest and most international campus is currently ranked as one of the world’s top 100 universities in the world.  Almost 20 percent of its student body is made up of international students, which makes it an excellent choice for those looking into studying in Ireland.

Whether you wish to study or carry out research in UCD you’ll be joining students from around the world on campus. Currently there are 685 American students at UCD, with 230 enrolled in a single semester of study abroad. These students are spread widely across all colleges and schools, with a heavy concentration in Arts, Celtic Studies, Human Sciences and Business.

At UCD the emphasis is on research and innovation and there are highly flexible undergraduate curricula along with structured graduate programs. Degree programs are available in UCD's seven colleges: Agriculture, Food Science and Veterinary Medicine, Arts and Celtic Studies, Business and Law, Engineering and Architecture, Health Sciences, Human Sciences and Science

UCD’s Liberal Arts & Science Program is a four year degree that mirrors the American educational system. You are offered the time and space to explore different areas of study and interest, while you build your stage one degree requirements, before settling on your degree of choice in year two or three. 

Arts (BA), Social Science (BSocSc) and Business (BComm) degrees can be declared at the end of your second year at UCD.  If your choice is a Science (BSc) degree, this must be declared at the end of first year. There are many other course and variation available at UCD which you can read about on their website.

The University is located just south of Dublin’s City Center on a safe, modern campus with extensive and guaranteed accommodation options, a state-of-art sports facility and 24 hour security.

The campus is also located just minutes away from the Wicklow Mountains to the south. This beautiful area is nicknamed “The Garden of Ireland”.
